Gorgeous Cosmetics is Australia’s Beauty Authority. We promise more than a face for the day. With over a decade in the beauty industry, Gorgeous has gathered a cult-like following amongst beauty buffs from Melbourne to Manhattan and everywhere in between. We are a company with a global outlook and presence and are now available in the US.

We are currently experiencing tremendous growth in the US and we are looking to add to our team.

We are seeking Freelance Makeup Artists who have retail sales experience to assist our retail partner locations.  You would represent Gorgeous Cosmetics by contributing to our success in various retail locations. Our ideal candidate will have superb makeup artistry skills, aggressive, but approachable sales abilities and provide exceptional customer service. Our ideal candidate must also be comfortable training and supporting retail staff on product knowledge, makeup application techniques and expressing the “Gorgeous look” and brand values.

Our Gorgeous Artist would be responsible for the following:

• Representing Gorgeous Cosmetics brand values
• Introducing Gorgeous Cosmetics to retail clients
• Serve as a makeup and lash expert in regards to makeup application and merchandise
• Engage and assist customers with product selections by asking open-ended questions to discover client’s needs
• Achieve daily sales goal by motivating clients interest through product demonstrations
• Provide the Gorgeous look to our makeover clients
• Teach Gorgeous clients beauty basics and “how to” tips
• Review features and benefits of products selected by clients to ensure complete client satisfaction
• Adhere to the Gorgeous merchandising and cleanliness standards
• Provide product knowledge and train the retail staff on the “Gorgeous look” upon request
• Submit all paperwork in a timely matter

We provide an hourly base plus commission, employee gratis and training on the Gorgeous brand and makeup techniques.

You must be a high school graduate or equivalent with makeup application skills and prior sales experience.
